Sometimes, the right words can make all the difference for your physical therapy business practice.
It’s a lot easier to get an existing patient to refer someone, than to try and get a new patient with traditional marketing for physical therapy business (to physicians, in the community etc). To get a patient to refer, you need to:
- Demonstrate authority but show pleasant qualities (use a resource like Therapy Newsletter)
- Implement the three step formula for referrals – script, timing and conditioning (the complete formula is here)
- Send out an email to your patients once a month (at least) asking them to refer friends and family.
This is unprecedented for me. I’ve never done something like this before.
